JOB PURPOSE
Ensure liaising with all stakeholders to complete projects planning and execution properly. Assist in identifying interventions which can contribute to the objectives and sustainability of the project. Manage all AFIH projects for delivering superior services within the currently established shared services lines or within any ad hock new requirement.

 

DESCRIPTION
  1. Project Planning
  • Review the project proposal, budget, targets, key performance indicators and ensure the development of realistic (Measurable, Reportable & Verifiable) plan, both in terms of budget and implementation.

 

  1. Project Implementation
  • Work with the concerned stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the project.
  • Regularly review & track the project progress against milestones and take corrective action where required, raising issues with the concern stakeholder and escalate as needed.

 

3 .Project Management

  • Promote and maintain effective partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the project to achieve specific goals, objectives and KPIs of the project.
  • Ensure proper communication to Stakeholders
  • Ensure efficient project management procedures are implemented to enable monitoring of projects and accurate reporting of progress
  • Comply with AF policies, procedures, and values in all activities

 

4.Program Monitoring and Reporting

  • Regularly monitor project activities and apply needed actions
  • Prepare progress reports based on management requirements

 

5.Stakeholders Management

  • Apply effective communications and stakeholder’s management mechanisms.

 

        6.Other Ad-hoc Tasks

Be cognizant of the wider implications of the project, working effectively with stakeholders: Finance, Support Services, BU’s as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

B.Sc of relevant field such as Social Science, Management, Business Administration, international development etc. or equivalent

 

Minimum Experience:

5 Years within Project coordination, planning and management.

 

Job-Specific Skills:

Ability to work independently, lead and influence stakeholders, project management skills, general Administration, excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills.

 

Behavioural Competencies:

Customer orientation, achievement Orientated, solution oriented, analytical skills, working under pressure and teamworking.
